Here are some of the Frequently Asked Questions which we have chosen to display for your personal information.
How do we become a member of Broadway Swimming Club?
If you would like your child to begin swimming lessons, your first plan of action is to put your childs name down on the waiting list. This can be done by popping into Broadway Leisure Centre on a friday or Tuesday evening after 7pm and speaking to the registration officers : Nicola Brown or Pat Glew. Alternatively if you have a contact within the club, you can ask for the information to be passed on and your childs name can go on the waiting list.
How much are swimming lessons?
We have an annual fee for the Swim England membership normally due at the beginning of the year ( 2020 fees are 1 Child £35 Two children £60 and £17.50 for any child after )
Each swimming lesson will cost the same as the past few years at £3.50
Do I have to pay for my childs swimming lesson if we cannot make it?
No, you will not have to pay for your child if you are unable to make a swimming session.
What items does my child need to bring to swimming lessons?
Swimming Hat
Goggles (Optional)
Towel
Swim wear (We would prefer it girls didn't wear a 2 peice swim suit and also if boys didn't wear shorts. This is purely in the interest of your child as this helps them to swim easier.)
Am I allowed to take photographs of my child swimming?
NO! This is a strict rule, and has to be abided by for the childrens protection! In relation to this, mobile phones will not be allowed on the pool side!
